If so, lets talk. **Your Role and Responsibilities** As a Storage Sales Rep / Account Manager, you will be responsible for a defined territory where you will be tasked to maintain IBM's superior level of customer focus, while identifying, negotiating, and closing technology and maintenance support services with-in this customer set. **Responsibilities**: - Working with various sources, you will develop new sales opportunities and drive them to closure. - Account management activities such as pricing contract entitlement, invoicing queries, and aged debt will form part of the role. - Working closely with the IBM Storage Business Partner network to leverage their skills and client interactions through to close. - You are expected to have a social media presence to promote the brand, engage, interact, and influence your clients. - You are expected to find a resolution if you encounter an obstacle when generating business and manage to resolution. - You will need to have personal drive and ambition to make you stand out. - You will need to build your network of contacts both within IBM and your client base, making yourself the "go to" person for your specific field. - You will need to take personal interest in everything you do, putting your client first, being prepared to take on challenges, solve problems, and work with your team to get things done. - You must have strong communication skills and be able to present complex concepts, designs, and solutions, both verbally and visibly. **Required Technical and Professional Expertise**: - You must have a proven track record of at least two (2) years in sales - You must have proven skills in sales pipeline progression and forecasting, utilizing CRM systems. - You have an excellent social media presence and the ability to demonstrate such tools in your sales role. - You will demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - A high level of energy, initiative, and dedication is essential to enable you to work in a fast-moving and challenging environment. - Capability to show evidence of your professional development through courses, certification forums, etc. - Portuguese and English speaking **Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**: - Two (2) years in sales in IT as well as demonstrated account management skills. - Experience selling Data / Storage Solutions is a plus. **About Business Unit** IBM has a global presence, operating in more than 175 countries with a broad-based geographic distribution of revenue.
