**Job Purpose**: As a Lead Designer, you'll work across numerous Digital Commerce areas, while leading multiple projects, mentoring junior UXD designers, and collaborating with various internal and external partners. You'll have the unique opportunity to dive into and affect every facet of our digital experiences, helping to make each more engaging and intuitive. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and leading design explorations, generating comps, interactive simulations, and product specifications based on end-users' behaviors, needs and use-cases. You will also collaborate alongside other UXD colleagues and TD SYNNEX partners to establish various digital experiences, as well as establishing our design guidelines while also have the opportunity to interact with senior level leadership. **Responsibilities**: - Identify Design needs in support of project/roadmap initiatives (requirements, features, MVP, etc). (15%) - Generate UX explorations of various fidelity levels (sketches to high-res) to semi-interactive simulations (InVision, Figma or similar). (15%) - Establish, leverage and evolve UX design standards and processes that drive cohesive experiences across TD SYNNEX's digital portfolio. (10%) - Organize and facilitate design-thinking workshops that establish end-user empathy through understanding of their needs, opportunities and behaviors, as well as inform business requirements and prioritizations. (5%) - Maintains high standards of accountability in owning responsibility around design decisions, timelines, and quality of user experiences. (5%) - Lead 4+ design projects independently at different stages of delivery, while also collaboratively working with UXD peers across other projects, without sacrificing quality. (15%) - Define research opportunities that drive end-user advocacy. (5%) - Communicate, Collaborate and negotiate with partners and stakeholder while being an ambassador for the end-user. (10%) - Mentor junior designers to ensure high-quality team output. (10%) - Able to clearly articulate and communicate UX related items with senior/executive level leadership. (5%) - Willing to openly receive and incorporate critique from peers and stakeholders as well as provide meaningful feedback. (5%) **Knowledge, Skills and Experience**: - 8 to 10 Years of relevant work experience. - Master's / Postgraduate Degree with Design Degree (UX Design, Industrial Design Visual/Graphic Design or similar related Design majors) Field of Study preferred. - Bachelor's Degree with Design Degree (UX Design, Industrial Design Visual/Graphic Design or similar related Design majors) field of study required. - Other Education / Certifications: UX Research related field - Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed. - Possesses strong data entry skills. - Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency. - Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information. - Able to create and conduct formal presentations. - Able to interact effectively with all levels of management. - Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results. - Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills. - Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive. - Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion. - Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines. - Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities. - Able to work independently with minimum supervision. - Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information - Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others. - Able to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others. - Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.
