In our inclusive and flexible environment everyone can bring their authentic selves to work. **About the role** The Client Manager works in close collaboration with the Regional Head, other Senior Client Managers, Underwriters, Actuaries and other Specialists to produce and retain profitable treaty and facultative business from assigned existing and prospective clients. The main responsibility of the Client Manager is give support to the Business Unit to growing the block of business assigned, this role includes the following activities related of business for the assigned portfolio of clients: - Preparation of Marketing Strategy for the assigned markets and clients. - Actively seek new business opportunities with existing and new clients under consideration of corresponding market strategy - Monitor insurance and reinsurance industry for market trends and developments, including competitors actions and adapt client-specific strategies and action plans accordingly. - Execution of the "Marketing Process" for assigned markets and clients, which includes: - Develop and provide support to the Business Unit in specific marketing plans for each assigned market or client segment. - Responsible for the implementation and update of the client segmentation for assigned markets. - Develop specific business plan for each client. Perform a thorough analysis of each assigned clients including ownership, structure, financials, financial security, portfolio, reinsurance buying behavior, SWOT and traditional reinsurance as well as other capital management needs and derive client-specific strategies and action plans that are aligned with our financial goals, divisional strategic map and balanced scorecard. (CPP, Executive Summaries). - Give support to the Regional Head in the management of the cross functional teams (XFT) of underwriters, pricing actuaries, accountants, business services, risk management and claims professionals and legal specialists. Helping in the make of decisions on quotes and renewals jointly on a team basis or escalate to the proper level of authority as described in the underwriting guidelines if a consensus cannot be reached or if a referral is required. - Handle and give support to other Client Managers in negotiations with clients with appropriate involvement of XFT (send offers to client, ensuring clarity of final terms and conditions, prepare final wording and cover notes). You will manage the client relationship by maintaining frequent contact and proactively offering reinsurance and capital management solutions that create win-win situations for both clients and SR. Offer adequate training possibilities to clients: - Ensure adequate quality of events (content, logistics, etc.) - Coordinate definition of new products & services strategy (i.e. support to clients with technical notes): - Document client information through CMS/Discussion Notes on a timely basis. Promote regular contacts between the client and appropriate members of the virtual team and SR's senior management. - Provide accurate and timely projections and plans for assigned clients, coordinated with underwriters and other specialist. - Through the use of appropriate management reports, regularly monitor the accounting and economic performance of business for the assigned clients. Identify and participate in the resolution of any issues with respect to premium collection, commission payments, claims payment and reserve developments. Compare and analyze top and bottom line results with target volume and economic returns, projections and plan and take appropriate action. - Planning and performance process for P&C; Business - Participate in the resolution of any issue within or outside of Latin America Reinsurance Team that affects the broader relationship with a client. - Facilitate the offering of support services to clients (audits, portfolio analyses, value at risk analyses, etc.) if deemed appropriate from a cost-benefit perspective. - Contribute to the overall strateg
