What’s the mission you’ll drive Safeguard Addi's assets and customer trust by meticulously verifying the authenticity of applicant identities in real-time, directly minimizing fraud losses and ensuring a secure onboarding experience. What you will do Decrease the overall fraud loss rate through enhanced real-time identity verification processes and proactive fraud detection. Maintain a document verification accuracy rate minimizing false positives and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for legitimate customers. Achieve an average handling time of identity verification cases while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness. Identify and document emerging fraud patterns or techniques, contributing to the continuous improvement of fraud prevention strategies. Maintain 100% adherence to established identity verification protocols and quality assurance guidelines in daily operations. Contribute to thereduction in the overall customer onboarding time by ensuring swift and accurate identity verification. What we’re looking for Technical Expertise in Document Security Possesses a deep understanding of security features in Colombian identity documents and stays updated on evolving forgery techniques. Can immediately identify inconsistencies or red flags in submitted documents based on their knowledge of security features. 1-3 years of professional experience in identity verification, document authentication, or fraud prevention, preferably within the financial services or technology sectors. Professional, technician or student of last semesters in documentology, criminology, dactyloscopy and/or forensic graphology. Analytical Rigor and Pattern Recognition Demonstrates a strong ability to analyze complex identity information, identify subtle anomalies, and connect seemingly disparate data points to detect potential fraud. Can proactively flag suspicious applications that deviate from established patterns, leading to the prevention of fraudulent transactions. Meticulous Attention to Detail and Accuracy Executes verification processes with exceptional thoroughness and precision, ensuring the highest level of accuracy in every assessment. Consistently identifies critical discrepancies in documents that might be overlooked by others, minimizing the risk of accepting fraudulent identities. Data-Driven Judgment and Decision Making Makes well-informed and defensible decisions on document authenticity based on verifiable evidence and established protocols, escalating complex cases appropriately. Can clearly articulate the rationale behind their verification decisions, citing specific document features or data points as evidence. Effective Communication and Reporting Clearly and concisely documents verification findings, including any anomalies or suspicions, and communicates effectively with relevant teams regarding potential fraud risks. Provides detailed and well-structured reports that enable other teams to take appropriate action on potentially fraudulent activities. Adaptability and Continuous Learning Quickly adapts to new verification technologies, procedures, and evolving fraud tactics, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
