Title and Summary Job Description Overview The Manager, Risk Management role supports Mastercard's Customer Risk Management team globally. The primary responsibility is to act as the team's liaison for new initiatives that impact Mastercard's risk exposure worldwide. Masterscard has approximately $77B in credit exposure to financial institutions and other counterparties. This necessitates regular engagement with senior management, sales, franchise, and product organizations, as well as our customers. Role - Support CRM in assessing, managing, and mitigating customer risk according to Mastercard's policies and procedures. - Participate in the global product review process, ensuring projects incorporate credit risk considerations. - Establish frameworks for integrating new initiatives into CRM's routine operations. - Facilitate smooth transitions to BAU processes once new initiatives are live. - Collaborate with regional leads to align global and regional initiatives. - Coordinate with relevant teams on controls and enhancements to accommodate new initiatives within CRM's risk standards. - Propose updates to policies and procedures based on feedback from global initiatives. This role requires a strong credit risk background, understanding of Mastercard's business model, systems, and tools, as well as proficiency in data sources relevant to customer risk management. All About You - Postgraduate degree in business, economics, econometrics, or equivalent. - Experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders. - Experience in credit risk assessment and financial statement analysis; knowledge of the banking sector. - Accuracy, self-drive, accountability, and a sense of urgency. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. - Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor.
