Under the oversight of the Sr. COM (Clinical Operations Manager) Head COMs or CRD, the person is responsible for budget/finance aspects, execution and oversight of clinical trial country submissions and approvals, and ensuring Site Ready status. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Ownership of country and site budgets, development, negotiation, and completion of Clinical Trial Research Agreements (CTRA). Oversees and tracks clinical research-related payments, payment reconciliation at study closeout, and maintains financial systems in compliance with FCPA, DPS/OFAC regulations. Performs financial forecasting in conjunction with Sr. COM and other roles. Manages country deliverables, timelines, and results for assigned protocols to meet commitments, ensuring quality and compliance. Contributes to the development of local SOPs and oversees CTCs as applicable. Coordinates with CRM, CTC, CRA, and other stakeholders to ensure country deliverables for submissions, budgets, CTRAs, and milestones are obtained. Collaborates with headquarters to align country timelines and updates information in clinical and finance systems. Ensures financial compliance and influences investigators, vendors, and partners to adhere to budget targets and payment timelines. Works with internal teams and external vendors to deliver contracts within fair market value. Leads or contributes to initiatives and projects that add value to the business. Shares best practices, acts as SME, and provides training to enhance team knowledge and effectiveness. Core Competencies Expertise in clinical systems, tools, and metrics. Knowledge of budget and contract negotiations, and understanding of study start-up processes. Ability to influence and resolve issues independently with minimal oversight.
