We are looking for an experienced QA AutomationEngineer with a keen eye for detail to design testing proceduresfor our customer’s software applications. Ready for the challenge? You bring to Applaudo the following competencies: - 5+ years ofexperience in software testing and quality assurance. - 3+ years ofexperience in test automation, including writing assertions,debugging failures, and contributing to test requirements. - 3+years of experience working with Playwright and WebdriverIO for UIautomation. - Hands-on experience with API testing, particularlyREST-based APIs, using Postman. - Experience with other automationtools, such as Selenium. - Experience with mobile testing for iOSand Android applications, including mobile automation. - Ability tomanage test data effectively and experience in defect tracking. -Proficiency in test script creation, execution, and reporting usingautomation tools. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularlywith Jenkins. - Basic familiarity with Linux commands fortroubleshooting. - Experience with cloud-based environments,particularly AWS. - Ability to validate data and write basicqueries. - Strong written and oral communication skills in Englishare mandatory, as you will be working directly with US-basedclients. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or arelated field. You will be accountable for the followingresponsibilities: - Plan, analyze, design, develop, execute andmaintain manual and automated test scenarios and test data, thisincludes determining priority for test scenarios and creatingexecution plans to implement these scenarios. - Identifyopportunities for automation within software processes. - Identifyand clearly document bugs found. Deliver regular reports on bugsfound. - Support design and execute test automation strategy forthe projects along with other developers and QA Analysts. -Coordinate the test plans with project managers, developmentmanagers and others. - Initiate the analysis, design,implementation, and execution of tests, monitor test progress andresults, and check the status of exit criteria (or definition ofdone). - Automate collection and delivery of test progress and testsummary reports. - Support the selection and implementation ofautomation tools. - Introduce suitable metrics for measuring testprogress and evaluating the quality of the testing. QualificationsKnowledge of automation and agile methodologies (SCRUM), ISTQBcertification (CFTL is a plus).
