The department is hiring for one provider position, which may be filled by either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.The University of Missouri Department of Family & Community Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the collaboration of practice physicians. This position will be part of a dynamic team working together to deliver exceptional care. Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.This position will see Family Medicine patients for ongoing health care conditions, preventative care, and acute care needs.Position DutiesConduct comprehensive health assessments with a high level of autonomy in diagnosing and treating health problems.Perform patient histories and physical exams; order and interpret diagnostic procedures; monitor patient conditions and lab results; develop treatment plans.Collaborate with physicians on difficult or complex cases as per the collaborative agreement.Serve as a resource for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.Shift DetailsMonday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Office/Admin hours are included. No flexibility for alternative schedules.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in nursing.Missouri Board of Nursing RN license or multi-state RN license via Nurse Licensure Compact. Must apply for a new license if residency changes.Preparation as a nurse practitioner through a Master's or certificate program, with a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing.RN licensure in Missouri; Nurse Practitioner certification required within one year of hire.Preferred QualificationsAt least 2 years of experience in a primary care setting.Anticipated Hiring Range$90,251.20 - $147,284.80. Grade: PAT-012. University Title: Nurse Practitioner.
