The Marketing Assistant will work remotely full-time in Colombia, enjoy cool perks, and maintain a healthy work/life balance. In a Nutshell Join Symphonic Distribution as a Marketing Assistant to gain hands-on experience in the music industry. You will help increase brand awareness and engagement through social media strategies and platform-specific content creation. This role offers a chance to work with a dynamic team and contribute meaningfully to our brand. What you will do Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster community interaction across social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Use Sprout Social to schedule posts according to the content calendar across social media platforms. Identify and foster non-traditional content distribution opportunities, such as Reddit, social media influencers, Facebook Groups, LinkedIn Groups, and emerging mobile platforms. Support the Corporate Marketing team in daily tasks. Maintain a unified brand voice across all channels. Assist in implementing social media strategies to boost brand awareness and engagement. Create and curate content for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, Spotify, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Develop short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Support marketing campaigns, including paid ads and social initiatives. Update dashboards with marketing performance metrics. Manage podcast backlog and assist with transitioning podcasts into video formats on Spotify for Podcasters. Stay informed on digital growth strategies and explore innovative engagement methods tailored to each platform. Keep up with industry news, trends, and pop culture to create relevant content. Coordinate logistics for virtual webinars and in-person events like Creative Connections and conferences. Represent Symphonic at concerts, showcases, presentations, mixers, and other events to promote the brand and foster industry connections. What you need to have Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or related fields. Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing). Strong interest in the music industry and independent music. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of social media trends and emerging platforms. Creative mindset for engaging content creation. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed. Quick learner capable of executing guidance and managing priorities. Innovative thinking for marketing ideas and collaborative execution. What is nice to have Fluency in Portuguese. Experience with HTML, Photoshop, or other design tools. Concert-going enthusiasm. Love for dogs and coffee. Avid Spotify user.
