We are seeking a talented Fashion and Graphic Designer to join our creative team and bring fresh, innovative designs to life for our activewear collections. This role requires a strong background in fashion design, graphics, and a deep understanding of the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: Fashion Design: Create innovative, stylish, and functional activewear designs, from concept to finished product. This includes designing apparel for Zumba’s diverse, high-energy audience, with a focus on fashion-forward elements and technical performance needs. Pattern Making: Develop accurate and detailed technical patterns for activewear, collaborating with the manufacturing team to ensure a perfect fit and quality. Manufacturing Process: Collaborate with product development and production teams to understand manufacturing capabilities, ensuring that designs are both creative and feasible for mass production. Graphic Design: Create and refine visually compelling graphics and prints for activewear using tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and AI software. Translate trends and concepts into eye-catching designs for fabrics, logos, and promotional materials. CAD (Computer-Aided Design): Use CAD software to produce technical sketches, specifications, and prototypes. Help translate hand-drawn concepts into digital formats and prepare artwork for production. Trend Research: Stay up to date with industry trends in fashion, graphic design, and fitness apparel. Use insights to inform design direction and ensure that Zumba’s collections remain on the cutting edge of both fashion and function. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the product development, marketing, and design teams to ensure designs meet branding and product strategy goals. Provide feedback and recommendations during sample fittings and revisions. Quality Control: Ensure that the final products meet the high standards of design, quality, and performance expected from Zumba Fitness. Ensure proper production timelines are met while maintaining attention to detail. Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in fashion design and/or graphic design, with a focus on activewear or athleisure. Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software for fashion and graphic design. Proficient in using AI tools for enhancing design processes and developing innovative concepts. Expertise in pattern making and the ability to create technical design drawings and specifications. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and garment construction, with experience working with production teams. Language Skills: C1 level English proficiency or equivalent (fluent in speaking, reading, and writing). Creative & Analytical Skills: A strong eye for fashion trends, color, and print design, with the ability to balance creativity with practical, production-friendly designs. Attention to Detail: High level of precision in pattern making, graphic design, and ensuring quality control during the design-to-production cycle. Additional Preferred Skills: Experience in fitness or performance wear design is a plus. Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices or eco-friendly materials is a bonus. Familiarity with 3D design tools or virtual garment simulation is a plus.
