About this Position "> The IDB Group is seeking a Cybersecurity professional to support governments in the Latin American and Caribbean region to improve their cybersecurity capabilities. "> Our Mission "> To strengthen the institutional capacity of the state to deliver better services to citizens using digital solutions and innovation, to support the modernization of public management, and to promote citizen safety and security. "> Key Responsibilities "> "> - Provide technical advice and support to governments and public sector organizations to help them implement effective cybersecurity measures, identify and mitigate potential threats, and stay ahead of emerging risks; "> - Develop and implement training programs for cybersecurity professionals; "> - Provide technical assistance and guidance to governments and public sector organizations on implementing cybersecurity best practices; "> - Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of cybersecurity and advise on how to apply them in practice. "> "> Requirements "> At least ten years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity and related fields such as information technology engineering, digital government, ICT policies, project management or similar in related technical environments. "> Recognized expertise in the field of Cybersecurity. "> Solid capabilities and experience advising on Cybersecurity (especially for governments and in developing countries). "> Relevant knowledge of standards, methodologies, best practices, analytical tools and understanding of institutions, policies and regulations in the field of cybersecurity. "> Working knowledge of the Latin American and Caribbean Region. "> Capacity to communicate effectively to policy makers. "> Multitasking, self-management and organizational skills. "> Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams, in large organizations and in leading long-term processes. "> Cybersecurity competencies in aspects such as technology, project leadership, business processes and policy. "> Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. "> Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.
