Job Purpose: This role will play a crucial part in supporting financial decision-making by transforming complex data insights into strategic recommendations. The focus will be on understanding financial trends, optimizing processes, and contributing to the organization's financial growth. Responsibilities: Partner with finance to detect and research discrepancies in budgets and prior-year expenses, actively identifying opportunities for improvement. Collaborate directly with the finance team on metrics, goals, and business reviews. Dive deeply into financial data to become a subject matter expert and provide additional insights. Participate in corporate projects and initiatives to offer deeper understanding and perspectives. Develop presentations that include in-depth analysis, actionable items, and facilitate decision-making processes. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and data requirements. Translate data insights into actionable recommendations to support strategic decisions. Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Conduct research and develop data solutions and causal inference to solve business problems. Develop and manage information systems to support corporate decision-making. Evaluate and improve financial data collection, validation, and reporting processes for accuracy and efficiency. Analyze cost structures, drivers, and identify cost-saving opportunities to support cost management strategies. Provide recommendations to optimize resource allocation and reduce expenses. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field; Master's preferred. Proven experience (3-4 years) in data analysis, preferably in retail or fashion industry. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Tableau. Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract insights. Experience working with large datasets and knowledge of data warehousing concepts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Passion for fashion and understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
