Purpose Contribute to the success of Global Network Operations as part of the Day Support team, ensuring the execution of specific goals, plans, and initiatives in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities comply with regulations, policies, and procedures. Accountabilities Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Conduct health checks, provide reporting, incident communications, answer hotline calls, and respond to email requests. Ensure efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank’s values, code of conduct, and global sales principles, maintaining effective business controls to meet operational, compliance, AML/ATF, sanctions, and conduct risk obligations. Consider the Bank’s risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions. Promote a high-performance and inclusive work environment. Coordinate with help desk to resolve user network issues, open tickets with carriers and vendors. Implement network changes following provided MOPs and Firewall Port Requests. Manage DNS tasks, validate user requests, and schedule/assign implementations. Oversee WiFi infrastructure, liaise with vendors, and follow up on issues. Ensure no unattended tickets in the GNOC ServiceNow queue. Manage network circuits for branches and ATMs, coordinate with ATM teams. Attend daily calls with branch service providers to validate service occurrences. Support troubleshooting with technologies like Cisco, F5, Fortinet, Zscaler, WiFi, etc. Build and track monthly KPI metrics for the GNO Team. Manage ServiceNow request queues and schedule changes. Monitor security scorecards and address network issues weekly. Dimensions Part of the Day Support Team within Global Network Operations. Service over 3,000 branches and offices globally. Maintain over 20,000 network devices across multiple regions. Manage multiple tasks under pressure effectively. Education / Experience / Other Information Post-secondary education in a technology-related field. Technical knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls; CCNA required, CCNP an asset. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Understanding of TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, LAN/WAN technologies, Cisco WiFi, Fortinet Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, SD-WAN, Zscaler. Customer-oriented with quick learning ability. Additional certifications (Fortinet, F5) and scripting knowledge are assets. Working Conditions Non-standard hours for scheduled implementations or rotational 24x7 on-call support. Location Bogotá or Home-Office.
