A Security Cloud DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in safeguarding our cloud infrastructure by seamlessly integrating security practices into our DevOps pipeline. This position will require deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), security tools, and automation scripting, enabling you to design and implement robust security controls across the entire development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to proactively identify vulnerabilities, implement security best practices, and rapidly respond to security incidents, ensuring the continuous delivery of secure applications within our cloud environment. Key aspects of the role include: Implementing security measures within CI/CD pipelines Performing security code reviews and vulnerability scanning Automating security configuration management across cloud environments Monitoring for suspicious activity and responding to security incidents Designing and implementing security architecture for cloud-based applications Staying abreast of emerging security threats and best practices Collaborating with security teams to enforce security policies and compliance standards Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of experience in large IT and Cyber Security enterprise landscapce Cloud Platforms:Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) with deep understanding of their security features and best practices. DevOps Tools: Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps CI/CD, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, GitOps ), configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of security principles, including authentication, authorization, encryption, vulnerability management, and threat analysis. Scripting & Automation:Ability to write scripts (Python, Bash, .Net) to automate security tasks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Security Testing:Experience with security testing methodologies (e.g., penetration testing, code review) and tools. Problem-Solving:Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify root causes of security incidents and implement effective solutions.
