Our organization seeks a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Payments Specialist. This position plays a vital part in ensuring the accurate and compliant execution of domestic and international payments. As a subject matter expert, the Senior Payments Specialist will support process optimization and serve as a liaison between teams. The key responsibilities include: - Processing vendor and government payments according to internal policies and local regulations. - Evaluating payment proposals generated by the Accounts Payable team before submission to the bank. - Resolving exceptions or rejections by liaising with banks or internal teams. - Acting as the main point of contact for complex payment issues. - Collaborating with treasury and accounting teams on cash flow forecasting and reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate should possess: - Treasury and Accounting knowledge, preferably with experience in SAP. - Familiarity with various payment methods (ACH, wire transfers, SWIFT, checks, etc.). - Knowledge of foreign payments regulations. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - A university degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Payments processing.
