Job Description Responsible for overall management of Solutions and Services business in Mexico to achieve its sales objectives. Responsible for the annual order intake, revenue, operating earnings/OROS, customer satisfaction index targets and other business objectives. Leads the development and execution of a business strategy through a direct team of solution managers, country managers, delivery managers, engineering, proposal, commercial/pre-sales and operations team. Works with the Services and Solution regional managers, sales team, customers and other cross company personnel to assure the success of the business. - Responsible for overall management of a regional business unit and the successful achievement of its sales and profit objectives.- Utilizes business knowledge to make appropriate decisions on complex solution proposals appraising short - and long-term goals. Demonstrates P&L; management skills by effectively balancing profits, quality, customer satisfaction and productivity. Responsible for business financials, budget and forecast. - Leads his/her team with an inclusive mind, engaging people to offer their best and advance their careers. Responsible for strategic organization planning and development; Hiring, retention and performance review, coaching & development of the team. - Shows agility when navigating the organization to leverage resources and collaborate with other businesses within the company. - Understands RA Strategic Framework and overall objectives and can relate those to his/her own business objectives, not only in a conceptual manner but also in converting that strategy into business results. - Quickly grasps the essence of any situation or problem and effectively manages multiple tasks and resources. Makes quality decisions in complex situations. - Ability to work in a matrix organization with multiple lines of reports fostering a collaborative team environment. - Coordinates with and supports other company-wide technology, product and commercial marketing efforts related to assigned region. - Leads the development and execution of a business strategy through a direct team of delivery, project management, engineering and commercial team. Includes collaborative interaction with regional proposal and operations teams. - Influences and collaborates with the sales team, customers and other cross company personnel to assure the success of the business.- Recognized inside and outside Rockwell Automation as an authority on the assigned region. - Responsible for region-wide process improvement activities. - Responsible for coaching and development of all resources in assigned business, either directly or through subordinate Managers. - Anticipates the need for change and supports and promotes company-wide programs, strategies and initiatives - Negotiates long-term partnership agreements with customers. - Proven ability to positively interact with all sales personnel and secure orders. - Identifies business development needs and develops goals and direction including training plan, human resource review, succession plan, etc. - Communicates business strategic plan / direction to team. - Responsible for headcount allocation and long-term headcount planning. - Creates an environment conducive to successful team interaction and customer satisfaction. - Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. - Accountable for all aspects of team performance. - Builds partnerships at middle-to-senior levels with key Rockwell customers which contribute to business success. - Identifies opportunities for partnering with and/or acquisition of third parties which support the business strategy and provide added growth in revenue and profit. - Enable alignment to work in conjunction with COEs subregional/global. Think and act strategically. - Communicate effectively Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in business or Engineering discipline - Minimally 4 years of experience in leading teams - Previous experience managing a business - Experience with technical, solutions & service team roles - Experience dealing with Services offer portfolio and Distributor relationship. - Experience dealing with customer management during crisis. - Experience dealing with customers with Rockwell / 3rd party Installed Base, MV Drives and Control. - A minimum of three (3) years of solid experience in the Solutions and Services Business. - Fluent in Spanish and English. - Availability f
