As a key player in our Financial Intelligence Unit, you will be responsible for analyzing alerts and identifying red flags using internal and external research tools. You will investigate suspicious activity alerts and referrals, ensuring accurate analysis and documentation. Additionally, you will assess transaction data to identify risks, trends, and suspicious patterns, collaborating with internal teams to gather information on client transaction activity. Your responsibilities will include finalizing Suspicious Activity Referrals with a thorough review and supporting evidence, generating reports and summaries using case management and analytical tools, and reviewing and inputting investigation results into the system in a timely manner. Key to success in this role is recommending next steps and escalating cases requiring further review, presenting findings clearly to management with well-written SAR narratives, building strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders, and demonstrating knowledge of AML regulations and industry practices. Requirements - 1-2 years of experience in AML and OFAC investigations - Solid understanding of AML/CTF laws, regulations, and best practices - Aptitude for multi-tasking, quickly identifying issues, and escalating to the appropriate level for resolution - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver results resourcefully and methodically - Strong writing, research, and analysis/investigation skills; capability to document relevant information in a clear, structured, and comprehensive way - Familiarity with Google and Microsoft products - Excellent team player with a strong work ethic who is a successful self-starter in a team environment - Strong interpersonal communication that is clear, accurate, persuasive, and in a confident manner that also possesses emotional intelligence - Active CAMS certification is desired but not required Benefits This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a global payables automation platform, providing a cloud solution to scale and automate global payables operations.
