Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in traffic planning and operations, with a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills. Main Responsibilities - Develop and implement daily transport plans to ensure timely and efficient shipments. - Assign loads and manage routes based on vehicle availability, taking into account factors such as geography and logistics. - Monitor shipments in real-time, identifying and resolving any issues or anomalies that may arise. - Collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination. - Manage transportation documentation, including DDTs, CMRs, and waybills, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Support operational problem-solving related to transportation, providing data-driven insights and solutions. - Verify transportation costs and assist with invoicing, maintaining accurate records and reports. Required Skills and Qualifications - Degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field. - At least 1 year of experience in traffic planning/operations, with a proven track record of success. - Advanced knowledge of Excel, Office, and management software, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights. - Strong understanding of national geography, particularly Northern Italy, with the ability to navigate complex road networks and optimize routes. - Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. - Problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.
