Sales & Catering Coordinator Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales & Catering Coordinator to join our team. As a Sales & Catering Coordinator, you will be responsible for receiving groups and events in the hotel, serving as an intermediary between the customer and the commercial and operational areas. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sales, groups, and events, preferably in hospitality. You will be able to analyze and manage multiple tasks effectively, possess problem-solving skills to address issues quickly and efficiently, and have strong organizational and planning skills. In this role, you will work closely with Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, Reservations, Front Desk, Departments, Hilton Meetings, and Kitchen to ensure seamless execution of events. You will also engage directly with guests or clients during group and event stays and participate in special activities such as cocktail receptions, welcome tours, etc. Responsibilities: - Receiving groups and events and updating hotel records accordingly - Drafting contracts for groups and events - Negotiating budgets with clients - Developing event Work Orders in the system with all relevant information - Conducting briefing sessions with all relevant information for the group (number of attendees, category, price, payment method, contact details, special notes, etc.) - Performing monthly group reports and updating closing information - Maintaining constant interaction with key stakeholders Requirements: - Graduate in Management, Hospitality, or Marketing - Previous experience in sales, groups, and events, preferably in hospitality - Ability to analyze and manage multiple tasks effectively - Problem-solving skills to address issues quickly and efficiently - Strong organizational and planning skills - Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word - Proactive approach to meet deadlines and objectives
