Job Summary: "> - This role involves fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment such as ducts and related components. "> Your Key Responsibilities: "> - Set up and operate hydraulic press brake forming various sheet metal parts. - Set up and operate plate rolls handling material from 20 gauge to 3/8 inch plate. - Set up and operate sheet metal shear calculating optimal cuts to minimize scrap. - MIG weld materials from 24 gauge to 3/8 inch plate, including galvanized, stainless, and carbon steel. - Understand and learn forming processes for sheet metal parts like pressed elbows and collars. - Operate plate rolls, spot welders, and other machinery in the forming process. - Read assembly prints and procedures. "> Required Qualifications: "> - High school diploma or equivalent required. - A minimum of four years experience in welding is necessary. - Good mechanical skills and basic math skills. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. "> Preferred Qualifications: "> - Trade or Technical School Degree preferred. - Three to five years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
