Position Details This is a 6-month , part-time (32 hours/week) , Colombia-based, remote role. Entry-level Program As a Latin American contractor, you will support the Impact Investments team in financial and impact monitoring of partner institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean. You will gain insights into the microfinance and impact investment sectors, with opportunities for professional development and networking. Team Overview The Impact Investments team manages relationships with partner lending institutions and borrowers globally, ensuring compliance and alignment with Kiva's social mission. The team includes members based in the US, Kenya, Thailand, and Colombia. Your Role We seek passionate, finance-skilled young professionals to support our team. Responsibilities include: Monitoring and analyzing financial performance of investees. Supporting due diligence processes for potential investments. Assessing loan costs and market comparisons. Evaluating social impact metrics of investments. Qualifications At least 21 years old by July 15, 2025. Authorized to work in Colombia. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business; or relevant experience. Over 1 year of experience in impact investment, finance, or related fields. Based in Bogotá; remote work flexibility. Financial statement analysis training/experience required. Fluent in Spanish; B2 level English. Independent, detail-oriented, proactive. Proficient in MS/Google Office and technology platforms. Minimum 6 months commitment; 1 year preferred. Compensation includes a monthly stipend of $800 USD.
