Manufacturing Innovator Wanted We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Innovator to join our process engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will work on developing and enhancing our proprietary laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) based additive manufacturing (AM) technology. About the Role: - You will collaborate with our engineers to design, test, and manufacture parts using our cutting-edge AM technology. - Your expertise in design for additive manufacturing (DFAM), post-processing techniques, and analytical characterization of printed parts will be invaluable in resolving design-related issues and ensuring high-quality printed components. - You will develop and refine post-processing workflows for customer applications, utilizing standard and specialty equipment. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field. - 5+ years of professional experience in additive manufacturing, with expertise in nTopology, Magics, Netfabb, and SolidWorks. - Understanding of post-processing techniques for additive manufacturing components and design for manufacturability. - Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;). - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think innovatively in the context of additive manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with thermal and mechanical design in additive manufacturing. - Experience with generative design and topology optimization software. - Proven hands-on experience with metal additive manufacturing processes.
