The role We are thrilled to announce an opportunity to join our team as: Analista / Administración de Redes SoftwareOne Scope: Full-time | Office: Medellín| Hybrid How a day to day would look like in this role: - Creation of browsing rules, publications, and configuration of VPNs (site-to-site and client-to-site). - Validation of security alerts and generation of reports using specialized tools. - Configuration and support of routers, switches, access points (APs), and firewalls. - Definition and enforcement of web control policies, application control, and threat prevention. - Administration of high-criticality firewalls and access/navigation policies. - Management of network incidents and requests (corporate and retail locations). - Execution of infrastructure change management processes. - Preparation and delivery of customized reports for different departments. What we need to see from you Profile: Technical or professional education in telecommunications, networking, or related fields, with approximately 2 years of experience and practical skills in network infrastructure configuration, security policy management, and second-level support. Required skills: - Configuration and management of switches (ACLs, NAT, STP, static/dynamic routing). - Experience with CLI configuration of routers and switches. Knowledge of wireless networks (preferably Aruba, but other vendors are acceptable). - Basic experience (at least 1 year) in firewall management (preferred: Fortinet or Palo Alto). - Knowledge in configuring security policies, antivirus, IPS, web filtering, and vulnerability management. - Familiarity with services such as VLANs, trunking, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP. - Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar). - Technical English (ability to read manuals and documentation). Certifications: - Cisco CCNA (mandatory – completed courses are valued). - Router & Switch certifications (desirable). - Fortinet NSE or Palo Alto PCNSA (desirable).
