Overview We seek a Marketing Specialist for the Strategic Studies & Market Analysis Division of the Crude Oil Sales & Marketing Department (COSMD). This division provides market analysis, intelligence, data analytics, strategic studies, and project management within crude oil sales and marketing. Your main role will be to oversee marketing activities, lead research initiatives, and enhance performance to support strategic marketing objectives. Key Responsibilities Provide expertise in crude oil market placement strategy and analysis. Participate in developing strategies for short- and long-term needs, addressing complex issues. Mentor and train team members on crude oil market concepts. Conduct complex studies impacting current and future operations. Monitor market trends to forecast their evolution. Coordinate special studies and consult with executive management. Advise on planning and analysis problems at senior levels. Collaborate on low carbon initiatives, including presenting analytical results and supporting organizational focus on low carbon products. Support commercialization of low carbon crude oil and products, focusing on offsetting and market mechanisms. Present analyses and recommendations on petroleum market issues to management. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Economics or Energy) preferred. Over 12 years of experience in oil and gas sustainability, ESG, and carbon markets. Knowledge of carbon markets, environmental regulations, and climate policies. Extensive understanding of global crude oil markets, pricing, and reporting methodologies. Familiarity with refinery operations, petrochemicals, linear programming, and financial modeling is a plus.
