As a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure and services to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) like Terraform. You'll also develop and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis, and perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization (FinOps). Collaboration with architecture, development, and PMO teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions will be a key aspect of this position. Main Responsibilities: - Maintain configuration and compliance with configuration management tools. - Design, build, and operate the entire infrastructure. - Ensure Cloud operations are run efficiently and securely. - Improve infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and deployment pipelines (e.g., Terraform). - Collaborate with IT security to prevent vulnerabilities and respond to incidents. - Work with change requests and incident monitoring systems. - Maintain the integrity of Cloud Infra systems through change, ensuring effective operation and response to fluctuating capacity demands. - Document technical design, build, and process documentation. - Provide technical support during disasters and perform Root Cause Analysis. - Perform Root Cause Analysis. Key Requirements: - At least 4 years experience with Cloud operations or similar. - Proven experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Cloudwatch, Azure monitor, ElasticSearch, Grafana, NewRelic, DynaTrace, DataDog). - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell). - Working knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar). - Good understanding of ITIL concepts and service management best practices. - Identify potential project obstacles, present findings, and support the project team.
