For our client, a company that offers package tours that include tickets to sporting events, concerts, hotels, attractions, and more, we are looking for an enthusiastic and strategic-minded individual to join as a Sports and Tourism Business Development and Sales Executive. This role is critical in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within the sports and tourism sectors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and travel, a strong sales background, and a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships. Responsibilities: Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through research, networking, and referrals. Generate leads via cold calling, email outreach, social media, and industry events. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective customers. Demonstrate product features and benefits tailored to client needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly. Market Research: Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth. Stay informed about competitors' activities and industry developments. Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiate contract terms with clients while ensuring profitability for the company. Close sales deals effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction. Sales Reporting: Track sales performance metrics using CRM software or other tools. Provide regular reports on individual performance against targets to management. Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with marketing teams to align strategies and campaigns. Collaborate with product development teams to relay customer feedback for improvements. Customer Follow-up: Conduct follow-up calls or meetings after a sale to ensure customer satisfaction. Upsell or cross-sell additional products/services as appropriate. Training & Development: Stay updated on product knowledge through training sessions or workshops. Participate in professional development opportunities related to sales techniques. Achieving Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals as set by management. Develop personal action plans focused on achieving designated targets.
