Senior Analyst, Procurement Operations Purpose: This role acts as the interface of the Procurement operations team, business requisitioners, and the Procurement community, ensuring Diageo buys the right products from the right suppliers at the right price. To execute a range of procurement processes accurately and efficiently, following procurement policies, standards, processes, and internal controls. This role will work closely with Global, GBO areas, COE Procurement team, STP team, Coupa development teams, STP systems support, and suppliers. Accountabilities Managing the tendering process for non-strategic spend on goods and services across the countries and markets for which they have responsibility. Providing advice and direction to requisitioners, guiding them to the correct source of goods where appropriate (via catalogue, webform where applicable). Looking for opportunities for continuous system and process improvement. Demonstrating a solution-focused approach to understand requirements and ensure a joined-up delivery of required service, business, and financial outcomes with the region and procurement categories. Ensuring queries are resolved in line with the relevant Service Level Agreement. Managing service requests/issues not resolved in accordance with policies and escalating issues following standard processes within agreed time-scales. Contributing to process improvement and maintaining documented processes/work instructions. Grade Differentiators Mid Performs a range of work activities in varied environments, working independently without frequent reference to others. Uses limited discretion in resolving issues or inquiries; may contribute to routine issue resolution. Key interactions Internal: Team members, GBO areas, requestors, global procurement, COE procurement, Coupa development teams. External: Suppliers, to negotiate proposals, invite to tender events, and align terms and conditions. Capabilities Experience in procurement categories, SAP ERP, SAP BW, Coupa, electronic e-auctions, sourcing processes, and compliance. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus. Strong MS Office skills and a proactive, collaborative approach. Role responsibilities Manage sourcing requests and eAuctions within SLA and KPI targets. Identify opportunities for process and system improvements. Support the business in sourcing and supply chain decisions. Build and maintain relationships with procurement stakeholders.
