Role Description This is an on-site role for an IT Operations position. This role will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and stability of key systems and services, resolving issues by escalating with the various areas involved. Responsibilities Analysis and monitoring: Monitor the performance of systems and services proactively to ensure their proper functioning. Systems maintenance: Identify, analyze and track the resolution of systems and services issues. Interdepartmental and Vendor Collaboration: Coordinate with specialized Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) teams, primarily Development and Systems. Manage communication with vendors or ISPs when necessary. Standardization and documentation of processes and procedures: Generate procedures, manuals and instructions in case of undocumented events. Ensure the availability and continuous operation of the platforms: Be responsible for leading the continuity of the platforms under your administration. Maintain an updated log of events, incidents and requirements: Monitor and log all detected events that originate incidents or requirements. Effectively track assigned incidents: Track all incidents assigned to the area and keep the information updated. Identify patterns and trends in incidents: Identify recurring incidents and execute actions to prevent recurrence. Effective communication on progress and completion of activities: Autonomously report on progress and completion of requested activities. Generate periodic reports that provide an overview of project status and performance. Minimum Requirements Cloud: AWS, GCP / Linux / Networking / Nginx / Docker Linux Server Operating Systems (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, etc.) Management and support of network infrastructure (BGP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, TCP/IP, FTP, and Firewalls, among others) Application and network monitoring tools (Datadog / SolarWinds / PRTG Network Monitor / OpManager / Nagios / Zabbix) Scripting programming in languages such as BASH, RUBY, PYTHON, or others Webserver Administration (Nginx) AWS Amazon CloudFront & Route 53 Streaming Technologies Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Systems, Networks, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT Operator.
