Title and Summary Senior Specialist, Legal Services Overview: The GBSC (Global Business Solutions Center) is Mastercard's shared services organization. In line with the One LFI model, GBSC partners with the Law Department to build a legal shared services function. The team is primarily co-located at the Mastercard Technology Operations Hub in O’Fallon, MO, with regional hubs for additional support. GBSC provides services across 50 countries to all regions and business units. The Senior Specialist, Contract Services, is part of the contract negotiation team within GBSC Legal Services. Reporting to the Senior Counsel, Sales Contract Services, this role manages end-to-end contract services for a Mastercard Cyber & Intelligence business, focusing on delivering excellent customer experiences and efficient business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end contract processes from request receipt to signature for assigned transactions. Triages contract requests to ensure compliance with business policies and procedures. Reviews, drafts, and negotiates routine vendor and commercial contracts, including confidentiality agreements, software licenses, support services, consulting agreements, and other typical contracts in financial and IT sectors. Prepares, revises, and executes agreements in collaboration with business units and subject matter experts, following established policies and playbooks. Analyzes contract terms and provisions for legal and regulatory compliance. Provides superior customer service, adhering to GBSC standards and Service Level Objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; JD or advanced education is a plus. Strong legal and business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage diverse workloads with varying priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration. Advanced negotiation skills. Judgment to escalate issues appropriately and exercise discretion in negotiations. Customer-focused service orientation.
