Job Description Sutherland is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to lead the implementation, customization, and integration of our Fraud Detection and Anti-Money Laundering solutions from NICE Actimize Premier. This role requires a strong technical background in software development, customer interaction, and project management. The ideal candidate will collaborate with R&D, Data Science, and Customer Support teams to deliver high-quality solutions to financial institutions. The Professional Services Engineer performs duties including: Developing, configuring, and implementing software features according to design documents and standards. Managing technical planning and execution of customer projects to ensure successful deployment. Engaging with customers to resolve technical queries, support user acceptance testing, and manage expectations. Identifying and resolving technical dependencies and risks, collaborating with internal teams. Working with Engineering teams on third-party integrations and deployment process optimization. Collaborating with Data Scientists to develop and deploy Machine Learning models. Leading technical discussions, providing updates, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders. Providing deployment progress reports to management via reporting tools and dashboards. Occasionally working on-site with clients or across time zones as needed. Qualifications Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience: 3-5+ years in Professional Services or Software Development roles. Proficiency in Python, SQL, PL/SQL, and database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle). Experience with Unix commands and shell scripting . Familiarity with Cloud (AWS preferred), DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), and ETL processes . Understanding of Web Services, REST APIs, networking, and web technologies . Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze large datasets and troubleshoot. Excellent communication and organizational skills to convey complex technical information. Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning. Knowledge of financial systems, banking technologies (ACH, Wire transfers, online banking platforms like Jack Henry, Fiserv, FIS), and fraud/risk compliance solutions. Experience with Actimize (AIS/RCM/UDM) is a plus. Strong analytical and quantitative skills relevant to financial domains. #J-18808-Ljbffr
