Responsibilities The Opportunity: The Internal Control Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and compliance of the company's internal control environment. By establishing robust control frameworks, monitoring effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement, by contribute to the organization's overall success and risk mitigation efforts. This role oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal control processes within the company and is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Your Impact: As Internal Controls Coordinator your responsibilities would consist of: - Risk Assessment and Mitigation: - Lead and supervise annual risk assessments across all markets to identify potential areas of risk and vulnerability within the organization. - Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and strengthen internal controls accordingly. - Internal Control Monitoring and Evaluation: - Establish monitoring mechanisms to regularly assess the effectiveness of internal controls. - Lead periodic evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Support investigations and address instances of non-compliance or control deficiencies. - Stakeholder Communication and Training: - Ensure proper communication is in place for all internal control policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders across the organization. - Lead the training agenda and guidance to employees on proper control procedures and compliance measures. - Continuous Improvement: - Lead the agenda to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in internal control systems. - Lead and ensure the implementation of changes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls based on best practices and emerging trends. - Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: - Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. - Internal Control Framework Enhancement: - Stay updated on internal and external changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards related to internal controls. - Lead the changes in the internal control frameworks as necessary to adapt to changing business environments and regulatory landscapes (GCS 4.0) Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field. - Strong understanding of internal control principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., COSO framework) - Strong understanding and exposure to Foods business and the Franchise Operating Model - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization (Good negotiation, influencing and communication skills) - Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams. - Proven capability in driving complex agendas, leading and influencing the organization towards the stated goals If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
