Consultant - Sustainability, Responsible Sourcing,Human Rights LRQA’s Sustainability Consulting team specializes inhelping clients to design and implement responsible sourcingprograms, due diligence, and sustainability/ESG strategies in theirsupply chains. We are looking for professionals to help develop ourgrowing sustainability advisory services in the Americas market. You will be part of the LRQA global Advisory team and report intoLRQA Advisory LATAM. You will be supported by our global networkand make use of our exclusive EiQ data. In this role, you willengage with the full project cycle with support and direction fromsenior team members. This includes project design, proposaldrafting, project implementation, creating deliverables, andpresenting to clients. Your projects will be primarily concentrated on private sectorclients spanning a variety of sectors, including consumer goods,retail, food/agriculture, and electronics, covering sustainabilitytopics including human rights, labor and working conditions, andcountry, commodity, and product risk assessment. This role will beclient-facing and require direct engagement with seniorstakeholders at companies (e.g., sustainability/ESG, sourcingand/or procurement teams), investment firms, and law firms. Responsibilities - Support Senior staff on the delivery ofconsulting engagements and project management by engaging withclients, conducting research, and synthesizing information toaddress client needs. You will be expected to keep projects ontrack and at a high level of quality. - Contribute to writtenclient deliverables: reports and presentations. - Communicate andpresent deliverables to clients. - Support product and servicedevelopment: standardization and development of LRQA productsacross sustainability and supply chain services, through innovatingand enhancing existing products, processes, and ways of working toaccelerate efficiencies and deliver positive impact projects. -Assist in business development: proposals, networking, andprofiling of LRQA to help the team secure new businessopportunities with existing and prospective clients. - Report toAssociate Director/Senior Consultants regarding the aboveresponsibilities. Requirements and Qualifications - 4-7 years ofprofessional experience in sustainability, responsible sourcingstrategy, business, and human rights. Professional consultingexperience is a plus. - Advanced knowledge of the sustainabilitybusiness environment and regulatory trends and standards. - Strongresearch and writing skills. - Communication, networking, andstakeholder engagement skills. - Able to work in Spanish andEnglish; other languages are a plus. - Ability to understand,interpret, and process quantitative data. - Detail-oriented,solutions-oriented, questioning mindset, and problem-solver. -Emotional intelligence and proven team skills. Takes initiative andcan work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. - Passionateabout social and environmental topics. - Adept at working virtuallyand in person – 1:1, team – with a strong capacity forself-management, self-support, and learning/skills building. -Capacity to work across different time zones, i.e., to holdmeetings outside of regular local working hours, when required. -Ability to respond positively to deadlines and adapt in a dynamic,fast-paced, and changing work environment. - Strong information anddata processing skills, with the ability to adopt multipleapproaches to reasoning, analytical and synthetic thinking,critical thinking and problem-solving, attention to detail, andconceptual and systems thinking. - Strong organizational skills:self-motivation, time management, planning, prioritizing,flexibility. - Continuous learning habit.
