**MSL Lead** - English version_ **WHAT YOU WILL DO** The Medical Science Liaison Lead role is responsible to align and execute the strategy and tactical plan for engagement with the scientific community and oversee the effective and efficient functioning of individual MSLs and the MSL team. In addition, Lead cross-functional work in the overall patient journey to guarantee the efficient understanding in depth of Takeda products by all key actors. This position reports to the Medical Affairs Head and is based in Bogotá, Colombia. **WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON** - Coach, train and manage MSL performance including monitoring metrics towards set KPIs ensuring excellence in execution of their role towards achieving strategic and tactical goals. - Ensure strong career pathways are established through development planning of team and oneself to ensure talent engagement and retention. - Thinks strategically in the development and execution of tactical Medical Engagement Plans and MSL tools aligned with the Brand strategic focus. - Ensure that MSLs hold robust current scientific knowledge to facilitate the MSL timely, appropriate, balanced, scientific exchanges with key external experts. - Leads and foster continuous development of the MSL team. - Present the clinical evidence to internal and external stakeholders in a non-promotional way - Assess scientific accuracy and validity of non-promotion material and its compliance with Takeda standards, SOPs and national laws - Ability to create and deploy MSL field team in line with business objectives, measure effectiveness, and course correct for success - Ensure excellence in execution of all governance processes and manage MSL resources and budgets. - Consolidate and share field insights to enrich medical strategy and nurture Therapeutic Area Leads (TAL) for improving marketing and medical plans. - Proactively participate in all the activities defined according to the position and role, within the framework of the SG-SST Occupational Health and Safety Management System. **WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR** **Experience & Education**: - Medical professional (MD). - 3-5 Years of experience as MSL preferred. - People management experience is required. - Experience creating & executing strategic medical plans. - Knowledge with CRM platforms. - Understanding of Colombian territory, health system and market dynamics and connect it with medical engagement plan to increase our impact. - Deep understanding of Local Health Care System. - Travel up to approximately 60% across the territory (Colombia). - Fluency in English and Spanish is required. **Competences & Skills**: - Excellent leadership, managerial, interpersonal and relationship building skill. - Highly Collaborative, confident and strong presence. - Competencies cross-functional collaboration skills. - Able to drive consensus across diverse stakeholders. - Accountability to communicate with medical affairs leadership and share best practices/key learning across the organization. - Excellent assertive communication skills. - Demonstrates strategic enterprise thing to find innovative ways to serve patients, build trust, reputation and business. - Commitment to fostering an equitable, diverse and inclusive environment. **LOCATION**:Bogotá, Colombia. **_ Versión Español_** **PROPOSITO DEL ROL** El líder de enlace científico médico es responsable de alinear y ejecutar la estrategia y el plan táctico para el compromiso con la comunidad científica y supervisar el funcionamiento eficaz y eficiente de los MSL desde un perspectiva individual y de trabajo en equipo. Además, es responsable de liderar el trabajo multifuncional en la ruta del paciente para garantizar la comprensión eficiente y profunda de los productos Takeda por parte de todos los actores clave. Esta posición reporta a la Dirección Médica y tiene base en Bogotá, Colombia. **DESAFIOS EN LA POSICIÓN** - Entrenar, capacitar y administrar el desempeño de MSL, incluyendo el monitoreo de métricas para establecer KPIs, garantizando la excelencia en la ejecución de su función para lograr objetivos estratégicos y tácticos. - Garantizar que se establezcan trayectorias de carrera sólidas a través de la planificación de formación y desarrollo desde una mirada individual y de equipo para garantizar compromiso y retención del talento. - Pensamiento estratégico para desarrollar y ejecutar los planes médicos y la apropiación de las herramientas de MSL según el enfoque estratégico de la Marca. - Garantizar que los MSL tengan un sólido conocimiento científico actual para facilitar los intercambios científicos oportunos y específicos con los expertos externos claves. - Dirigir y fomentar el desarrollo continuo del equipo de MSL. - Presentar la evidencia clínica de forma no promocional a los grupos de interés claves internos y externos. - Evaluar la precisión científica y la validez del material no promocional y su cumplimiento con los estándare
