Job Title A key role has opened up in our organization for a talented Data Automation Specialist. This position involves collaborating with various teams to develop and maintain automated tests, perform data analysis, and ensure the integrity of data pipelines and models. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Databricks and a solid background in automation testing. They should be passionate about data, automation, and working with cutting-edge tools in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid position that combines elements of QA, data analytics, and database optimization. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to support testing around Appian workflows and contribute to the automation of database testing. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and Selenium. - Perform data analysis and ensure the integrity of data pipelines and models. - Work extensively with Databricks, contributing to data model validation and optimization. - Collaborate with consultants and development teams to help design and validate data models. - Optimize query performance in a Databricks environment. - Contribute to the automation of database testing, with a focus on analytics rather than traditional DBA tasks. - Work closely with stakeholders to support testing around Appian workflows. - Support QA initiatives focused on performance, scalability, and reliability of data-driven applications. Required Skills and Qualifications Required Skills: - 5–6 years of relevant experience in QA, with a strong focus on Databricks. - Proficiency in Python and Selenium for test automation. - Solid understanding of data analytics and query optimization. - Experience working in QA or engineering teams focused on data models and database tools. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high delivery demands.
