Job Description We are seeking a skilled Production Artist to join our team at Flare BBDO in Bogotá. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, print-ready mechanical files based on approved creative concepts. Your expertise will be crucial in refining layouts, typography, and imagery to meet brand guidelines and production standards. You will also troubleshoot and resolve production issues with mechanical files before handing off to vendors. Collaborating closely with designers and art directors, you will adapt ideas into technically correct production artwork. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that files are complete, accurate, and production-ready. As a Production Artist, you will maintain organized file structures and mechanical libraries for efficient project management. You will manage multiple projects, ensuring quality and deadlines are consistently met. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate, print-ready mechanical files based on approved creative concepts. - Refine layouts, typography, and imagery to meet brand guidelines and production standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with mechanical files before handing off to vendors. - Collaborate closely with designers and art directors to adapt ideas into technically correct production artwork. - Perform detailed preflight checks to ensure files are complete, accurate, and production-ready. - Coordinate with external print vendors to ensure file compatibility and resolve technical challenges. Requirements: - Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. - Strong understanding of print production workflows, including mechanicals and technical specifications. - Ability to troubleshoot technical artwork issues and find solutions. - Good knowledge of prepress processes, color management, and file preparation for various print formats. - Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously. - Capable of maintaining accurate version control and asset libraries.
