Position: Customs Agent Job ID: RC753825 Location: Terminal de Carga 1B FedEx, Calle 26 106-87 (Bodegas), Bogotá, DC, Colombia Employment Type: Full-time Job Description Performs basic processing and obtains customs clearance approval for import/export and transshipments of documents, packages, and merchandise in baggage or air freight. Prepares necessary customs forms such as airway bills, cargo manifests, invoices, and declarations to facilitate import/export procedures efficiently and timely. Ensures compliance with country customs and tax laws, and aligns with FedEx policies and procedures. Interfaces with customs officials, coordinates activities, contacts customers for additional information, and informs them about duties and taxes. Maintains organized customs documentation, supports baggage handling at the airport and station, and retrieves air freight from carriers as needed. Qualifications High School degree or equivalent Two years of experience in international freight/cargo customs policies, procedures, rules, and laws Knowledge of airport and customs clearance procedures (preferred) Good communication skills, personable Driver’s license Computer literacy, general office skills CRT experience (preferred) English proficiency in customs-specific terminology Application Deadline: May 19, 2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
