Our Product & Application Service Specialist is responsible for providing technical solutions in complex customer projects, working closely with our sales and service teams, both direct and indirect, on specific Alfa Laval products or applications. Work with existing relationships or in complex projects initiated by the sales team. Lead the technical aspects of customer projects through visits, meetings, and interactions, focusing on product presentations to offer customized value propositions. Support and lead in the complex quotation process within customer projects. Act as a product champion during product launch campaigns and drives. Serve as a local trainer for specific products and applications: define and deliver local training programs for Alfa Laval employees, channels, and customers. ¿What are we looking for? Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields. If you have a different academic background, technical training in the above fields and relevant experience are valued. Additional training in technical sales, project management, or technical training is a plus. Specialized technical knowledge in heat exchange and separation technologies. Experience in product or service sales. ¿What will you require to succeed in this role? Fluency in English and Spanish, both speaking and writing. Ability to provide technical leadership in customer projects. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to train and educate employees, channels, and customers. Customer orientation and collaborative work with sales and service teams (both direct and indirect). Experience managing complex quotations, including customer visits and meetings. Previous experience in the implementation, design, or maintenance of industrial process lines. Experience in technical sales or post-sales/technical support.
