As a Sr Data Engineer, this role will be responsible with design and implementation of data engineering platforms and solutions that meet product and business requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on data engineering background working on data warehousing and implementing scalable ELT pipelines solutions utilizing modern data technologies. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, automate and harden all data workflows. - Incorporate core data management competencies adhering to Data Architecture guidelines around data governance, modeling, quality and security. - Develop data transformation code with emphasis on test harness to deliver high quality data solutions. - Perform data and system analysis to resolve complex defects and incidents with RCA. - Stay current with emerging data technologies and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage Qualifications - At least 5 years of Hands-on experience as a data engineer working with data warehousing and ELT pipelines. - Strong SQL skills including schema design, query optimization and schema evolution. - Exp. using scripting or programming language. Preferably Python. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, GCP Big Query) and their data service offerings is a plus. - Knowledgable of virtualization technologies, and their use and execution. - Experience leveraging modern data technologies like trino, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, data orchestration tools and data lake technologies - Experience with design and implementation of large-scale data transformation initiatives - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
