Key Requirements: 3 to 4 years of experience in labor and employment law. Have a strong background in California employment litigation and advice and counseling. Candidates should be an active member and in good standing of the California bar or eligible to waive into the bar. Location: This position is based in our Los Angeles office . Applicants should be based within driving distance to our Los Angeles office or planning to relocate if applying to this position. Position Information: This position is a Counsel role. Advancement decisions will consider multiple factors including the firm's needs, the market dynamics within your area of expertise, and broader economic conditions. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing legal research; drafting motions, pleadings, and dispositive motions; attending court appearances; drafting and responding to discovery and meet and confer letters; defending individual and class action wage and hour and PAGA claims both in court and in arbitration; responding to government investigation and inquiries. Applicants will also draft and review employment and severance agreements, employment policies, and Employee Handbooks. The salary range for this role is $225,000 - $250,000 based and evaluated on experience level.
