Katapult works with PMF+ startups and businesses in the United States with a team-augmentation model. That means we either become or augment their current product engineering team. About the Role We are looking for a Product Engineer with solid frontend experience particularly in React , TypeScript , and Tailwind CSS who is excited to grow into a fullstack contributor. You’ll play a key role in delivering polished user experiences while collaborating across the entire product lifecycle. Technical Scope As a Product Engineer, you’ll be expected to contribute across the stack by: Building UIs with React and Tailwind CSS Implementing API-level changes using Fastify Managing database migrations with Drizzle ORM Writing autonomous backend tests Creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developing and integrating email campaigns Working with Temporal (or similar durable queues/flows) Automating workflows using GitHub Actions Writing clean, type-safe code in TypeScript Back-End Context While backend development is part of the role, much of our system relies on external SaaS services that manage logic and orchestration. These include: Temporal – used for managing workflows and task queues Other integrated services that handle complex system flows Note: Prior experience with these platforms is not required — we’re looking for someone curious, adaptable, and eager to learn.
