appropriateProvides country leadership oversight and progress updates of DTI portfolio of local demand, projects, escalations, improvement actions and other relevant developmentsPlans and drives end-user communications to advise / update and get feedback from users about key DTI developments / changes, DTI processes and DTI capabilitiesService delivery management & escalation:Works with DTI service owners / teams to ensure DTI service delivery in line with commitments and SLA'sReviews DTI service reporting and follows up on key performance issues and required improvements also voiced by business leaders and (key) usersDrives service issue escalations up the DTI management chain towards resolutionOversees performance of local MSP / vendor (staffs) delivering global DTI servicesService delivery development:Work with DTI service owners / teams to communicate new local demand, business plans and objectives and outcomes for alignment with service strategy and road mapsCoordinates or supports local deployment of global IS service projectsInformation management:Advises business leads and ensures local systems adhere to Amgen's requirements and policies regarding security, compliance, reliability, functionality and continuityAnalyses local systems against global DTI services / roadmaps and proposes migration plans accordinglyAdvises business leads on applying generic DTI best practices related to data & information management and automation of business processesManages / guides new DTI demand as raised by local business leads / users in accordance with defined IS processesAnalyses technology aspects of business improvement ideas and plans and proposes initial DTI project or delivery plans accordinglyPlans and manages DTI components of local DTI driven business projectsCountry DTI governance & management:Manages all DTI related topics / aspects and required improvements at country levelEstablishes and maintains specific local DTI policies and proceduresHandles local IS operating expenses, advising business on IS run and project budgets, providing transparency on DTI spendLeads local vendors and contractsHandles local DTI assets and procurementLocal DTI team management:Recruits and on-boards new DTI staffs when relevantEnsures DTI staffs are trained and comply with appropriate standards and proceduresLeads activities, workload and overall performance of DTI teamPerforms all regular HR processes to ensure IS staffs are engaged and proficientContributes to the team's activities, meetings and improvements initiativesDTI compliance management:Maintains knowledge of DTI quality and compliance policies, SOPs and associated documentsCreates and contributes to development and maintenance of relevant policies, SOPs and associated documents for DTISupports, participates in and responds to questions and findings from regulatory and other audits.Ensures compliance with Amgen's corporate regulatory requirements e.g. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degreeOR Master's degree and 2 years of related experience OrBachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience OrAssociate's degree and 8 years of related experience OrHigh school diploma / GED and 10 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications: Fluency in written and spoken EnglishIn-depth knowledge of IT industryExperience in pharmaceutical industry and exposure to working in regulated environments Experience in a similar role including 2 years line management experience Broad knowledge of key IT domains & layers incl. : application software & web technologies; reporting & analytics tooling; database / data warehouse technologies & data interfacing; application hosting, server & other infrastructure technologies; end-user technology; X-as-a-Service technologies Experience in information / application management, IT service management and Technology project management Experience in IT (team) management and governance! Experience in development of processes / SOP's, policies and associated documents Knowledge of pharmaceutical business processes and operationsDemonstrable record of (1) information / functional IT analyses and planning and (2) project management and delivery, esp. for business applications in the field of process workflow automation, team collaboration, multi-channel marketing and reporting & analytics Experience in applying IT standard process methodologies: Agile SAFe, ITIL (v3) CompetenciesDisplays strong management and delegation skills!
