Job Title Senior Technical Project Manager About Your Business Area/Department: The Technical Coordinator role is part of the SPR / Strategic Project Management team, supporting IT Operations domains such as Network Engineering, System Engineering, Cloud Platforms, CISO, and HOS R&D; teams. This team is responsible for ensuring the reliability, stability, and security of HOS applications and related IT Core Services. Summary of the role: We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Project Management team. You will support both project initiatives and day-to-day operational activities, acting as a key bridge between technical teams and project governance. Your responsibilities will include coordinating activities like patching, server builds, certificate renewal, change management, vulnerability remediation, and more. In this role you'll: Manage operations for core services, coordinate patching, server builds, SSL re-newals, and support automation initiatives. Incident and Problem Management: Participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis, ensuring critical issues are prioritized and escalated quickly. Reporting and Documentation: Produce reports, maintain documentation, and share knowledge across teams. Project Participation and Delivery: Contribute to feasibility studies, coordinate technical streams in projects, and support project leadership. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on tasks and risks. About the ideal candidate: Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience working in IT Operations, Infrastructure Coordination, or Technical Project Support roles. - Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, server functionalities and clustering, virtual machines (VMs), and SSL certificates. - Basic understanding of ITIL processes. - Familiarity with ServiceNow (for reporting and task tracking). - Understanding of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) processes. - Exceptional communication skills: Demonstrated ability to document and articulate ideas clearly in English, both written and verbal. - Proficiency in engaging and keeping stakeholders informed through effective communication. - Strong organizational and time management skills: Ability to manage tasks and time efficiently while maintaining clear and consistent communication. Preferred Skills: - Advanced knowledge of PCI/DSS processes. - Project Management contribution (working closely with Project Managers). - Hands-on technical coordination for initiatives such as Chef, AWX, Ansible automation, AUD knowledge (Amadeus specific), VM migration and cloud-based patching tasks (Azure experience preferred). - Strong decision-making capabilities during operational incidents. - Continuous improvement mindset (process optimization and automation initiatives). - Leadership in driving technical activities within a project framework.
