Job Duties Under direct supervision, develops a working knowledge of the company's business systems, processes, and controls, including policies and procedures, related to the assigned location and department. Prepares basic accounting reports and analyses using spreadsheets or applications. Gains understanding of the organizational structure. Prepares and posts journal vouchers for basic transactions. Researches accounting issues and transactions, including internal controls. Applies technical accounting skills typically acquired through a university degree in accounting. Knowledge of US GAAP or relevant country-specific principles is required. No previous accounting experience is necessary. This developmental role introduces incumbents to general accounting, internal controls, financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and industry-specific knowledge, along with basic proficiency in industry and company operations.
