Your expertise in network design documentation will be essential in providing comprehensive guidance to project teams, peers and network support organizations. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of engineering recommendations and service improvement plans for our corporate network infrastructure. You will collaborate with our Information Security team to ensure that all security and compliance requirements are met. Your technical assistance will be invaluable in investigating, analyzing and mitigating network vulnerability alerts. In this role, you will also analyze network activity and problem trends to identify and prevent systemic errors. Your research and analysis skills will enable you to recommend software or hardware changes to rectify any network deficiencies or enhance performance. Assessing network performance to meet present and future business needs will be crucial in your success. Furthermore, you will provide training and guidance to network support teams to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles. If you are a motivated individual with a strong passion for network engineering, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. - We require at least 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant work experience. - Preferred qualifications include: - 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) - Minimum of 5 years' working experience in network engineering - Advanced understanding of Cisco routing and switching - Expert level knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) - Advanced level knowledge of Cisco VPN networking - Expert knowledge of Arista switching - Advanced knowledge of Citrix Netscaler Access Gateways - Broad knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, WAN, LAN and wireless networking - Working knowledge of Python - Working knowledge of SASE solutions - Working knowledge of Unified Communications and VOIP - Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, ideally Silver Peak - Working knowledge of Cloud computing - Knowledge of automation tools - Advanced process, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills along with effective communication skills Please note that Visa is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
