About the Role : We are looking for a County Research Specialist to help us identify the best counties in the U.S. for land acquisition based on specific investment criteria. Your research will play a critical role in determining where we focus our direct mail marketing efforts. Responsibilities : - Analyze and select U.S. counties based on detailed investment criteria that we will provide. - Research key county data points such as population growth, property values, rural/urban mix, land availability, and market activity. - Provide data-backed recommendations with clear justifications for each selected county. - Work closely with our team to meet timelines for mailing campaigns. - Understand and track performance expectations (i.e., number of seller calls generated per campaign) and adjust recommendations based on results. Qualifications : - Highly detail-oriented and organized. - Proficient in online research and data collection. - Familiarity with tools like DataTree, PropStream, Zillow, Redfin, or similar platforms is a strong plus. - Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. - Previous experience in real estate or land investing (preferred but not required). - Comfortable working with basic spreadsheets and compiling reports.
