Job description: the credit solutions manager leads a team in the global operations and is responsible for coaching and developing direct reports to ensure operational effectiveness and appropriate credit decisions. they ensure quality credit decisions are made and proper measures are taken to comply with policy and internal controls. purpose: the credit solutions manager regularly assesses processes and looks to develop enhancements that have a mutually beneficial impact on customers and the bank. accountabilities: - leads and drives a customer-focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. - ensures effective and efficient operations: - conducts thorough investigations, analysis, and application of sound credit judgment principles in underwriting credit for credit cards, uloc, and odp within assigned limits. - provides resolution and response on complex problems (escalations) via telephone/correspondence to customers, branches, office of the president, and other internal partners. reporting relationships: - primary manager: senior manager mortgage operations, dotted line reporting to director, retail payments & unsecured lending operations - direct reports: credit specialist, level 05 - shared reports: n/a dimensions: appendix a - retail lending ccul operations approval authority the manager is guided by policies in manuals & guides on intralink and exceptions to policy provided by global risk management. unless specifically noted that exceptions are not available, any excep...
