Network operations role our organization is seeking a skilled network operations professional to join our team. the ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be able to provide first-level support for network outages and projects. this role involves daily network activities, including incident and change management, to ensure end-user requests are handled within established service level agreements (slas). key responsibilities - provide 24x7 operational support for our network infrastructure. - evaluate new technologies and suggest improvements to enhance network performance. - conduct security audits and implement security policies to protect our network perimeter. - collaborate with stakeholders to communicate network status and updates. requirements - 5+ years of experience in networking (lan/wan & security) required. - bachelor's degree/diploma in computer science or engineering required; cisco certifications such as ccna, ccnp, fortinet certifications fcnsa, fcnsp, and itil preferred. - experience with cisco firewalls, routers, switches, fortigate utm, and implementation of these devices. - deep knowledge of cisco, fortigate, brocade networking products, load balancers, firewalls, routers, switches, utms, wi-fi (cisco/fortinet/aruba), including troubleshooting. - expertise in networking concepts such as iplcs, leased lines, mpls, t1/t3/e1, voip, vpn tunnels. - proficient in configuring wan links, vlans, and protocols such as tcp/ip, snmp, ospf, bgp, rip. - solid understanding of network security from desktop to perimeter level. - experience impleme...
