Piping specialist role overview this position requires relocation to saudi arabia for a permanent full-time expat assignment with a comprehensive relocation package. we seek a skilled piping specialist to join our piping & valve group under the equipment consulting services department (ecsd). - our team provides specialized engineering consultations, introduces viable technologies, and maintains quality standards. - the primary role is to provide operational and project support, technical consultations, and standards maintenance related to piping and pipelines. responsibilities include: - evaluating standard compliance and design basis of piping and pipelines during project reviews. - supporting operational piping activities and assessments. - conducting fitness-for-service analyses of piping and components. - maintaining standards for saes, saep, sabp, and 04-samss related to piping and pipelines. - determining design pressure, temperature, material allowable stress, and pipe diameter. - reviewing maximum span of piping layout and rating of piping components flanges, fittings. - performing free span and on-bottom analysis using submarine free span criteria. - acting as a technical advisor providing operational support to organizations. - leading technology evaluations of latest developments in piping systems. - conducting and reviewing stress analyses and other specialized studies. - reviewing pipeline integrity programs. - performing plant assessments and witnessing local manufacturing activities such as design, fabrication, assembly, and testing of piping components...
