About our organization: we strive to create a world-class employee experience and foster a positive work environment that enables us to deliver outstanding customer service. the location: located in the historic heart of cartagena, colombia, we have revitalized stunning landmark buildings dating back to the 16th century. we boast 131 accommodations, including 27 suites, four restaurants, two ballrooms, and a luxurious spa and fitness centre. job summary: this role involves providing exceptional personalized service to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests from arrival to departure. you will be responsible for welcoming and registering guests, managing reservations, and handling phone calls and special requests. - efficiently and courteously check-in guests, using their names whenever possible, assigning requested room types, and charging the correct rates. - handle check-out procedures, assess guest satisfaction, collect keys, settle charges, and present invoices, ensuring accuracy with various payment methods. - assign rooms to reservations 48 hours prior to arrival. - manage daily billing processes. - attend to guests with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, fulfilling special requests, resolving complaints, and assisting with inquiries about hotel services, staff, events, and directions. - respond promptly and accurately to guest requests in person and via phone. - ensure the safety, privacy, and confidentiality of guest information. required skills and qualifications: - professional, technical, or students in related fields ...
