Job title the global model risk management unit provides independent and consistent model validation and approval across various risk types. this role supports the senior manager in the validation of canadian and international retail/non-retail credit adjudication and behavior models, credit retail strategies, as well as anti money laundering (aml). the professional is responsible for: - validating retail scoring models and non-retail adjudication models - validating retail credit strategy models (including adjudication, behaviour, collection) - validating aml models across the enterprise - reviewing model methodology, analyzing data quality, assessing soundness of model methodology, reviewing software architecture, performing quantitative tests, and qualitative assessments - based on results, recommending improvements to the model or development process key responsibilities include maintaining collaborative relationships with clients, communicating findings to stakeholders, and providing support to senior management. the ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience in data management or development, familiarity with large data sets, and strong knowledge of statistical techniques....
